At the beginning of the 21st century, complete sets of plants with a daily output of 150 tons and 200 tons have also been widely used. China alone has introduced more than 40 large capacity production lines. The process technology of these production lines is mainly from DuPont, Gemma, Neumag and Evanda, and the equipment is mainly provided by Fresna and Neumag. At the same time, domestic polyester staple fiber equipment manufacturers have also accelerated the pace of research and development. The domestic polyester staple fiber production line with a daily output of 100 tons was launched in 2002. Up to now, more than 50 domestic polyester staple fiber production lines with a daily output of 100 tons have been put into operation. The technology is relatively mature, and the production line equipment can completely replace the imported equipment.
